Assure1 takes a fundamentally different approach to data from legacy systems. Legacy systems cannot scale to meet the new demands of today’s networks and to overcome this they suppress most of the data – and discard it. After all, Machine Learning cannot spot trends and anomalies if it is only fed scraps of data.
All of the data is ‘unified’ on the Assure1 platform and is normalized into a common format to provide visibility across multiple areas that may previously have been siloed. With the unification and normalization of the disparate data sources, we can start to process it holistically. Then we ensure everything is running optimally – training completed, operators are fully enabled, automations are running efficiently and AI policies are producing the correct results.
Leveraging normalized data we immediately start to enhance the Assure1 system further as we also enhance the processes and benefits to our customer. We would expect to be able to correlate fault, performance, topology, service, and customer data together in order to identify a root cause. Taking it one stage further, if the certainty is high that a root cause has been found, an automated recovery action can also be triggered with the result being validated (e.g., a ‘zero-touch’ or ‘closed-loop automation’). This is beginning to deliver what we call operational excellence
The Add stage is, not surprisingly, focused on adding new data sources into the platform. These are often new physical or virtual devices or applications, new services, and new reference data sources as well as new users who often require new dashboards and reports to provide insights into their services and customers.
