AI-driven Operational Intelligence in a Unified Platform

The Federos Assure1 platform has been designed as an open, multi-tenant, highly scalable architecture to address the shortcomings of the legacy solutions while enabling all kinds of future services. Assure1 provides fault, performance, topology, and service management functionality in a single, unified platform and leverages Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) technologies, including machine learning, in order to drive correlation, root cause analysis and automation.

Federos Platform Assuring Availability and Performance at Scale

Assure1 uses AIOps, machine learning and other technologies, to identify accurate root causes in real-time to drive reduction in service outages and to minimize customer impacts. By designing a single, domain and technology agnostic platform, we unify data from across domains to provide end-to-end visibility. Being able to leverage existing tools as data inputs also allows Assure1 to consolidate and simplify operational environments and provide a simpler and lower cost solution to our customers.

Our unified platform enables centralised management of infrastructure, business services, applications and customer experience. By collecting and normalizing data from these varied domains Assure1 can analyze and enable correlation, automation, reporting and visualization. Freed from their legacy siloed systems, Assure1 customers realise significant cost, efficiency and performance improvements.

Cognitive Engine – Machine Learning, Correlation and RCA3

There are considerable advantages to new technologies such as Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Software Defined Networks (SDN), Containers and Microservices, 5G, and IoT.  But each of these new technologies brings a new level of complexity to Operations, and an ever-increasing amount of data. Legacy tools are simply not designed to cater for this agile and dynamic dramatic shift in operations, and attempting to manually process the data is no longer an option.

Assure1 uses fully integrated Machine Learning (ML), but it would be wrong to believe that Federos ML is similar to others. Machine Learning solutions are not equal. Some solutions ignore data and miss vital insights. Other solutions are tough to integrate. Assure1 Machine Learning is completely integrated, runs across the whole platform and all data types and ignores nothing so that it can create greatest insights. Even so, Machine Learning alone will not deliver the greatest results. We have developed a unique approach called RCA3.

Since deploying the Assure1 solution, we have remediated the dependency and cost of operating with legacy tools and plan to reduce OPEX in the months and years to come
