The Federos Assure1 platform has been designed as an open, multi-tenant, highly scalable architecture to address the shortcomings of the legacy solutions while enabling all kinds of future services. Assure1 provides fault, performance, topology, and service management functionality in a single, unified platform and leverages Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps) technologies – including Machine Learning (ML) – to deliver event analytics, service assurance, and closed-loop automation solutions that increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.

Being able to leverage existing tools as data inputs also allow Assure1 to consolidate and simplify operational environments, providing a simpler, more effective, and lower cost solution to our customers.

AIOps and RCA3 – Correlation, Causality, Prediction, and Automation
There are considerable advantages to new technologies such as Cloud Computing, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Containers and Microservices, 5G, and IoT. But each of these new technologies brings a new level of complexity to Operations and an ever-increasing amount of data. Legacy tools are simply not designed to cater for this agile, dynamic, and dramatic shift in operations. Attempting to handle this complexity and manually process the data is no longer an option.
AIOps and Machine Learning (ML) are at the center of the Network Operations Center (NOC) transformation, bringing operational intelligence and actionable insights to deliver greater efficiencies, a better customer experience, and considerable cost savings. But not all ML solutions are equal. You can’t get answers to important questions if you don’t have the right data. ML will fail if it is not well implemented or if it is not able to handle the data explosion that new technologies are creating.
Assure1 uses all the data unfiltered with nothing thrown away – a true holistic single source of truth. It uses fully integrated ML that runs across the whole platform and analyses all data types, correlating information across domains to create real operational intelligence and actionable insights that drive business value: labor cost reductions (time and effort savings), SLA violations cost avoidance, and incident resolution cost avoidance (truck rolls reductions and others).
