Bill Cannon has more than 25 years of experience in early stage and large companies, developing and executing on strategic initiatives and sales at EMC, Voyence, Micromuse, Ameritech, and AT&T. He joined Federos in 2010 to lead the company’s global sales and strategic partner development, and was appointed CEO in 2013 to lead the company in its growth phase. In August 2017, Bill transitioned to role of Chairman and Chief Revenue Office with responsibility for named accounts and partners.
Prior to Federos, Bill managed the EMC Ionix software sales team, focused on the U.S. telecommunications, media and entertainment markets. He joined EMC following the acquisition of Voyence, where he successfully expanded into new international markets, including Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Voyence, Bill served as VP of sales and technical services for Micromuse for more than five years, where he was responsible for the telecommunications, federal government and OEM markets, the majority of North American sales. While at Micromuse, he developed strategic channel relationships with IBM, Cisco, Telcordia, Capgemini, and regional VARS in addition to establishing a federal government sales team. As general manager of Ameritech’s Advanced Data Services, Bill built strategic data account teams focused on the company’s top 200 largest business and government customers, growing revenue from $100M to $282M in three years. At AT&T, he built a strategic sales organization, which successfully targeted competitive long distance and data networking accounts in the Fortune 500.
David Knight serves as Federos’s CEO. As CEO, he is responsible for executing the vision of Federos which integrates sales, product management and development, marketing, and customer support to deliver the unified services assurance solution, Assure1, to our customers.
Previously, at Motorola, David served as Vice President & General Manager of Public Sector Applications, a division of Motorola’s Government & Public Safety group with a global customer base. David served as Vice President of Worldwide Operations for SEI which provided help desk services, sales support, and retail support services globally to customers including McDonald’s, Jiffy Lube, Steak ‘N Shake, and Dunkin Brands. Prior to SEI, David was Vice President of Corporate Development at Micromuse (NASDAQ: MUSE), a publicly traded network management software provider, where he executed over $200 million in acquisitions and subsequent integrations, developed and strengthened partnerships, and oversaw back-office operations. David also held senior financial, sales, and operations positions at Ameritech.
David holds a BS in Accounting from Valparaiso University and a Masters in Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Bill Fitton previously served as Chief Financial Officer for The College Network (TCN) located in Indianapolis. He was responsible for overseeing all of the Company’s financial activities, including treasury, cash management, accounting, internal control, planning, and reporting & analysis for this private e-learning/distance learning company.
Before joining TCN, Bill served as interim CFO and interim Vice-President for Gordon Tech High School, a private college prep high school in the city of Chicago. In these roles he provided financial and cash management services, prepared annual business plans as well as detailed forecasts for the President and Board of Directors. Additionally, he assisted in developing the on-going business strategy and ‘turn-around’ initiatives for the school in tandem with President.
Bill served for 4+ years as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for Shields Enterprises International (SEI LLC) in Oak Brook, IL. He was responsible for overseeing all of SEI’s worldwide financial activities including accounting, treasury, planning, reporting, and analysis. SEI provided customized call center and managed business services to major multi-location corporations through service centers in the U.S., Hungary, China, and the UK.
Previously to joining SEI LLC, Bill had a distinguished 25+ year career at Motorola Inc., during which he provided financial leadership at the corporate level and within a number of the operating business units. Bill served as Vice President of Finance in several multi-billion-dollar Motorola business units which included an overseas assignment in Singapore for approximately 2 years.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN and an MBA in International Finance from DePaul University in Chicago.
John Locke serves as Federos’s Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for the product management, development and roadmap of the Assure1 service assurance platform. John leads the commitment to design and delivery of network technology solutions for our customer’s ongoing business transformation and maturity of virtualized, unified service operations. As CTO, John also guides effective product strategy to increase our business performance surrounding capability, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Prior to joining Federos, John held executive roles under the TATA brand, most recently he served as IS CTO for UK & Europe for Tata Consultancy Services, and from 2008 to 2014, he was Group CIO for Tata Communications, part of the Tata Group. He has also served as CTO of Vanco, and brings over 35 years of collective telecommunications knowledge and excellence in technical and operational management to Federos.
Nicole Fortenberry serves as Federos’s Vice President of Marketing and is responsible for building and delivering marketing strategies that drive growth, innovation and visibility for the business. She oversees brand development and awareness, thought leadership and product messaging to elevate presence in the market, including coordination of activities to support sales, partners and customers.
Prior to joining Federos, Nicole held positions in public relations, analyst relations and corporate communications with Industry software vendors, including IBM, Tata Consultancy Services, and IGT (formerly GTECH Corp.) Nicole also served in a marketing and communications role at Micromuse Inc., where she was instrumental in the company’s successful acquisition by IBM in 2005. She holds a Bachelors in Journalism from Michigan State University and is based in Jamestown, Rhode Island.
Thomas (Bert) Sammons is responsible for Federos’s customer experience including Customer Support and Services.
Bert has over 15 years of experience in the operations management arena including support, services and systems administration related to technology management software.
Prior to joining Federos, Bert was an independent consultant for Federos and Windward Consulting Group where he was responsible for designing technology management solutions, project management, solution implementation and documentation for many large organizations. Prior to that, Bert was a Systems Administrator and PHP Developer at interactive Point of View (iPOV). There he worked on infrastructure in support of eLeaning technologies developed by iPOV. Prior to that, Bert was a Systems Administrator at ITC Deltacom, a Network CLEC/Carrier-of-Carriers. At ITC, he worked in the Network Operations Center to manage, enhance and maintain the tools and systems used to monitor their fiber network. Bert earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Auburn University.
Susan Williamson serves as Federos’ Vice President of Sales and Partner Enablement. She is responsible for sales operations and management, including technology selection and implementation, team training and development, and channel resource identification and growth. She is passionate about developing businesses through sales process and partner alignment.
Susan’s background includes positions in inside sales, business development, sales management, and leadership and she has worked with leaders of middle market businesses in the area of sales strategy and operations. Before joining Monolith, she served as President of C.TRAC, a Cleveland, Ohio, company focused on data management and marketing technology. As a top tier partner of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, C.TRAC was sold to Pierry Software in early 2016. She earned a B.A. in English at the College of William and Mary in Virginia and resides in Cleveland, OH.
