Keith Buckley serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Federos and has been building and leading high-performing technology companies for over 20 years. As CEO and President, he’s built and led teams through the successful execution of growth strategies and exits, including 2 IPOs and 4 private sales. Keith has been CEO of high-growth and turnaround companies for private equity sponsors, international corporations, and start-up owners across many tech industries.
Most recently, Keith was President and CEO of The Switch Enterprises, an international provider of managed, private-cloud video production and transmission services for the world’s largest broadcast, cable, OTT, government, enterprise and eSports content providers. Prior to The Switch, Keith was President and CEO of ASC Signal Corporation, a global designer and manufacturer of satellite and radar technology. He previously led Trusonic (now Mood Media), a provider of digital music and messaging services for the retail, hospitality, and digital out-of-home marketplace. His prior roles were as the founder and CEO of Juke Systems, Inc., and founder and CEO of InSight Telecommunications Corporation. He is currently a director of Trialon Corporation and previously served as director of Aero Communications, Inc.
Keith received his BS in Telecommunications and Film from San Diego State University.
Bill Fitton serves as our Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to Federos, Bill served as the CFO for The College Network (TCN), a private e-learning/distance learning company in Indianapolis, where he was responsible for overseeing all of the organization’s financial activities, including treasury, cash management, accounting, internal control, planning, and reporting & analysis.
Before TCN, Bill served as interim CFO and interim Vice-President for Gordon Tech High School, a private college prep high school in the city of Chicago, and also as CFO and Vice President of Finance for Shields Enterprises International (SEI LLC) in Oak Brook, IL. He was responsible for overseeing all of SEI’s worldwide financial activities including accounting, treasury, planning, reporting, and analysis. SEI provided customized call center and managed business services to major multi-location corporations through service centers in the U.S., Hungary, China, and the UK.
Prior to SEI, Bill had a distinguished 25+ year career at Motorola Inc., during which he provided financial leadership at the corporate level and within a number of the operating business units. Bill served as Vice President of Finance in several multi-billion-dollar Motorola business units which included an overseas assignment in Singapore.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN and an MBA in International Finance from DePaul University in Chicago.
Bill Cannon has more than 25 years of experience in early stage and large companies, developing and executing on strategic initiatives and sales at EMC, Voyence, Micromuse, Ameritech, and AT&T. He joined Federos in 2010 to lead the company’s global sales and strategic partner development. Bill currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) with responsibility for named accounts and partners.
Prior to Federos, Bill managed the EMC Ionix software sales team, focused on the U.S. telecommunications, media and entertainment markets. He joined EMC following the acquisition of Voyence, where he successfully expanded into new international markets, including Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Voyence, Bill served as VP of sales and technical services for Micromuse for more than five years, where he was responsible for the telecommunications, federal government and OEM markets, the majority of North American sales. While at Micromuse, he developed strategic channel relationships with IBM, Cisco, Telcordia, Capgemini, and regional VARS in addition to establishing a federal government sales team. As general manager of Ameritech’s Advanced Data Services, Bill built strategic data account teams focused on the company’s top 200 largest business and government customers, growing revenue from $100M to $282M in three years. At AT&T, he built a strategic sales organization, which successfully targeted competitive long-distance and data networking accounts in the Fortune 500.
Sergio Pessoa serves as our Vice President of Strategy and Operations and leads the go-to-market strategy and strategic initiatives. He has a well-established track record creating high-performance organizations and delivering successes globally as a leader in business technology consulting and Fortune 500 companies, and an entrepreneurial hub in Silicon Valley connecting the U.S. and Brazil startup ecosystems.
Prior to Federos, Sergio was the President of Lewellyn Technology, an industry leader in workplace safety services with a focus on electrical solutions. Prior to Lewellyn, Sergio worked as Executive Director and Member of the Executive Committee at Grupo Contax, a top 5 global provider of IT and BPO services, where he was the President of the group’s technology unit todo!. He also led strategic business and technology consulting at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Daugherty Business Solutions, and Product Development of Public Safety applications at Motorola Solutions.
Sergio holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a BS in Computer Science from UNICAMP-Brazil, and an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Certificate from Stanford University. He was appointed by Nearshore Americas to the Power 50 ranking – the list of the most influential executives in Latin America in IT, BPO and Shared Services.
Joanne Carney serves as our Vice President of Customer Success with an overall focus on ensuring our customers experience sustainable value from their investment in Federos’ products. Joanne is responsible for Service Delivery and is the driving force behind the teams who enable our customers and partners to achieve their business objectives.
Joanne has been in the industry for nearly 15 years. Beginning her career with Eirteic, one of our key strategic partners, she has worked closely with Federos’ products and solutions since their inception. Through her CIMA qualifications and financial background, Joanne has a deep understanding of the importance of value for our customers and partners. Joanne continues to focus on the people element of our organization and is passionate about maintaining a great company both to work for, and to work with.
Mike Gent serves as our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He has been with Federos from the beginning and is responsible for the strategic direction of the organization’s technologies and software. He has over 25 years of experience covering a wide range of disciplines including systems administration and engineering, network administration and engineering, facilities engineering, security management, database administration, network management, software development, and software architecture. This breadth of knowledge has allowed Mike to provide strong leadership to Federos’ technical growth.
Prior to Federos, Mike was a consultant at Burwood Group. At Burwood, he was responsible for designing and implementing network management solutions to organizations primarily in the Chicago area. Prior to that, Mike was the Manager of Network Engineering at Universal Access, Inc. At UAI, he was responsible for the creation and management of a large scale, distributed network connecting offices and Data Center locations across the globe. The implementation of security and network management solutions for this network prepared him for the future design and development customizations necessary beyond what was capable with products at that time. Early in his career, Mike was the Manager of Systems and Networking and Pacific Crest Networks. At PCN, he was responsible for a regional ISP network in the Pacific Northwest which included automatic provisioning of DSL customers.
Thomas (Bert) Sammons serves as our Vice President of Support and Training for Customers and Partners. He has over 20 years of experience in the operations management arena including support, services and systems administration related to technology management software.
Prior to joining Federos, Bert was an independent consultant for Federos and Windward Consulting Group where he was responsible for designing technology management solutions, project management, solution implementation and documentation for many large organizations. Prior to that, Bert was a Systems Administrator and PHP Developer at interactive Point of View (iPOV). There he worked on infrastructure in support of eLearning technologies developed by iPOV. Prior to that, Bert was a Systems Administrator at ITC Deltacom, a Network CLEC/Carrier-of-Carriers. At ITC, he worked in the Network Operations Center to manage, enhance, and maintain the tools and systems used to monitor their fiber network.
Bert earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Auburn University.
