Customer Support Engineer 

Federos is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Support Engineer in our UK office to join our Technical Assistance Centre to provide 1st and 2nd line customer support for our solutions portfolio.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Ticket Management
  • 1st & 2nd Support End Customers and Vendor Partners
  • SLA Compliance with Response Times
  • Maintaining Knowledgebase Articles/Solutions
  • Providing Documentation of Ticket/Issue Resolution
  • In Depth Ticket Researching and Appropriate Case Escalation
  • Remote Secured Troubleshooting – Managed Services
  • Remote Secured Platform Administration & Configuration – Managed Services

Required Technical Skills:

  • At least two year’s experience in (software) Customer Support and/or LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP/Perl) development and support
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Strong TCP/IP and network trouble-shooting background
  • Knowledge of Network Infrastructure Architecture, and troubleshooting
  • Network and System Management Solutions (Fault, Performance and Capacity, Data Centre Management – (Good to have, but not essential)

Quality Assurance Engineer 

Looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our innovative research and development team in our UK office based in Bracknell, Berkshire.

Responsibilities include implementing testing strategies, writing the test plans, producing test cases, ensuring the automated regression test packs are executed, and utilize Test Management and Automation tools. The role offers opportunity to define and forge test methodologies and to implement and streamline test automation.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience at all stages of the testing lifecycle, including writing test plans, producing test cases, regression testing etc.
  • Experience writing automated test scripts in Selenium WebDriver
  • Demonstrable experience of testing APIs
  • Background working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and technical writer skills
  • Experience working with Java (preferred)
  • Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment (preferred)

Looking for strong & proven consultative sales experience in software and technology sales in the Dallas and Denver metro areas, Washington D.C. area, Atlanta, and in Germany/Austria.

Required skills:

  • Sales experience in both large and small company environments
  • Experience with the longer sales cycles of transformational products
  • Skill in developing a network of C-level contacts and building knowledge of the business issues they face
  • Proven ability to understand enterprise wide issues and to structure innovative, integrated solutions that provide C-Level decisions support to organizations in achieving their business goals
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers
  • Extensive industry expertise and account knowledge
  • Strong level of business acumen
